The Wagga Wagga and District Historical Society has been collecting items of local historical value since 1962. A small portion of the Society's collection is stored at CSU Regional Archives. Inscription on the map: "6th edition of the De Gruchy and Co. New Squatting Map of the Riverina and District of NSW. Shewing all the Townships, Reserves, Roads and Stations, &c. &c. with approximate boundaries and replete with general information to the latest dates: together with alphabetically arranged index of all the squatting stations of 1877. Compiled from the latest surveys lithographed and published by De Gruchy and Co., 21 Elizabeth St Melbourne."
