GL Blakemore Memorial Library
Wagga Wagga Teachers' College
The GL Blakemore Memorial Library was under construction in the centre of the College campus during 1969. It was named in honour of the College's first Principal, who died in office in September 1958. The Blakemore Building now houses the CSU Regional Archives.
Directly behind the second story under construction here can be seen the beginnings of the construction of the Student Centre, which adjoined the Library. The Student Centre buildings are now the Riverina Conservatorium of Music.
