Studio portrait of Mrs D'Hudson of Wagga Wagga. The reverse side of the photograph has the following inscription: "Born at Kelso, near Bathurst in 1845".
Mrs D'Hudson is likely to be Fanny Morton, daughter of Thomas and Mary Morton, who married Edward D'Hudson in the district of Orange in 1866. Fanny and Edward had 8 children and moved to Wagga Wagga in 1899.
Approximately one week after their arrival in Wagga, Edward died of a heart attack. Fanny D'Hudson died 17 years later at her home in Travers Street on 19 November 1916 in Wagga, aged 73 years.
