Description
The Wagga Wagga Gaol, built in the 1860s by Charles Hardy, was demolished in 1919, but had fallen into a dilapidated state after it was condemned in 1916.
A new police station was built on the site (on the corner of Tarcutta and Sturt Streets) in 1927.
